I was super happy when Annie and Francois asked me to take pictures of their new addition Jacob. I also photographed their beautiful wedding last year and Jacob is a special Anniversary gift for the two of them! I count it as a real blessing to be a part of people’s lives and their families.

Hello, Hello, for those of you stopping by I’d like to let you know that all the action is going to be on face book for the next little while as I transition to my new blog that I am setting up and finally designing as we speak! I did want to share a portrait session shot in the new studio by Carly Clarke, photog extraordinaire! She is heading out on maternity leave but will be back for sessions in the fall!! Tonight I am going to do a mini happy dance at the studio because after way too much work I can finally get in there and have you all visit! It is not completely done but it is time to get back to work! The new location is 5425 Rue de Verdun. Needless to say, major prayers are being sent to Japan ( I have friends and family of friends and nobody has heard from them yet!). My sister lives on the North shore of Hawaii just stone throws away from the beach so last night (around 3:00 a.m), my family (and many more) were all on high alert as she had to evacuate her home and head to the hills!! She has been there for about 13 years so I have spent a lot of time there and have many friends, so honestly I was pretty worked up with visions of disaster for what I think is the most beautiful place on earth (with the most beautiful people!). It looks like things will blow over there but Japan needs all the prayers we can put out there.

Sometimes two people are just suppose to be married. Sometimes I feel like I have been brought to this earth to photograph their wedding. I love Tim and Shannon and I can’t wait to photograph their 7 children!!! (Inside joke!) No seriously… I had an amazing day because these two people are amazing and so are their friends and family.
